Hi Everyone!!
So I am going to attempt to send out a bi-monthly newsletter instead of doing my typical mass email. I hope that you all like this! I think it will be a better way of telling everyone what has been going on in my life and make it a little more appealing to look at! Please forgive the glitches that come up in the first few newsletters. As with anything it takes time to get it the way one really wants it to turn out! I am so excited to keep everyone informed so you know what is going on with me and I hope that you all enjoy it!
Summer Events 2006 This summer was completely filled with great things for me. First, I graduated from Elmhurst College! I can’t believe that I am done with my undergraduate work already! It seems as though four years just flew by! Like everyone seems to say…Time really flies when you are having fun (and working hard!). It feels like such a great accomplishment and I am ready to step into the next adventure head on and I can’t wait!
In June I was part of a great production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute with the Chicago Classic Opera Theater. I sang the role of Tamino, which was a great challenge and goal for me! I had a great time working with the company!
After the performance of The Magic Flute, it was time to move back to Baldwinsville, NY and get ready to head to Austria for the Tyrolean Opera Program. It was AMAZING!! I met so many wonderful people there; Teachers, mentors, and other students! All I can say is I am completely overjoyed with my decision on a summer program and I wouldn’t take back my experience.
After my wonderful Summer Program I returned to the states. Thanks to the wonderful terrorism in England, I had a few issues getting back to the states and then once I did get to NYC I had no luggage for five days. Let me tell you, it was not the highlight of my summer! I survived, believe it or not! I was in NYC thankfully for a week spending time with my best pal, Kristin! Thankfully she helped take care of me! I am now in Baldwinsville for the new couple of weeks getting myself prepared for my big move to Vienna again! I will be there for another year! Then it will be on to Grad School! I will keep you updated! There is oh so much to do before I go and I am getting there slowly! I hope this finds all of you well and I look forward to hearing from you! Announcing my Website! This is really exciting for me!
I have finally gotten myself put together and have been working on my website. There isn’t much there as of yet, but I am so excited to be working on it and keeping up to date now!
